The viburnum family is made up of several varieties, all with different attributes and landscape value. With such a wide selection, there is bound to be a viburnum ideal for any spot in the yard.

For easy of selection, we've gather information about all the viburnums we sell. Not all varieties are available throughout the year, but feel free to give us a call to see if we have what you need.

x burkwoodii :: Burkwood viburnum (Burkwood, Mohwak)
- 6-1o' tall x 5-8' wide (depends on variety)
- Upright shape
- Pink to white flowers
- Red to black fruit
- Insignificant fall color
- The fragrant flowers are born in 2-3" rounded clusters. The glossy 4" leaves persist into winter and give the plant a medium texture.

carlesii :: Korean Spice Viburnum (Cayuga)
- 5-6' tall x 5' wide
- Rounded shaped
- Pink buds opening to white flowers
- Red to black fruit
- Red fall color
- Clusters of pink buds open to very fragrant, white flowers followed by deep wine-red fall foliage.

dentatum :: Arrowwood Viburnum (Blue Muffin & Red Feather)
- 5-7' tall x 5' wide (Blue Muffin) 8-10' tall x 10-12' wide (Red Feather)
- Upright shape
- White flowers
- Blue fruit
- Yellow to red fall color
- Flat clusters of creamy white flowers are followed by dark blue fruits. Useful as a screen in the shade or poor soil.

farreri :: Pink Dawn Viburnum
- 4-6' tall x 2-3' wide
- Upright shape
- Pink flowers
- Blue fruit
- Burgundy fall color

x juddi (Juddi)
- 6-8' tall x 4-7' wide
- Rounded shape
- Pink to white flowers
- Black fruit
- Red fall color
- Rounded clusters of pink buds open to white flowers. This is a good choice in place of the standard Korean Spice Viburnum.

lantana :: Mohican Viburnum
- 8' tall x 8' wide
- Rounded shaped
- Creamy white flowers
- Orange to red fruit
- Red fall color
- More ornamental fruit and fall color display than the species. A dense plant with dark green foliage.

nudum :: Brandywine™ Viburnum
- 5-6' tall x 5' wide
- Upright shape
- White flowers
- Pink to blue to black fruit
- Burgundy fall color
- Beautiful glossy foliage turning to a great burgundy fall color

opulus :: Cranberry Viburnum (Compact European)
- 4-6' tall x 5-6' wide
- Rounded shape
- White flowers
- Red fruit
- Maroon fall color
- Dark green foliage with an abundance of fragrant, white flowers followed by showy, red fruit.

plicatum var. tomentosum :: Doublefile Viburnum (Marie's Doublefile, Pink Beauty, Watanabei)
- 5-8' tall x 4-8' wide (depending on variety)
- Rounded to spreading shape (Marie's - spreading, Pink Beauty - rounded, Watanabei - rounded/irregular)
- White flowers
- Red to black fruit
- Maroon fall color
- Doublefile viburnums also range within themselves. The Marie's Doublefile has a distinctly horizontal habit. Pink Beauty is smaller and rounded with light pink flowers. Watanabei will flower even with only a couple hours of light, or filter light a day. The flowers are more of a lime green instead of bright white in the shade.

x rhytidophylloides :: Allegheny Viburnum
- 8-10' tall x 8-10' wide
- Rounded to upright shaped
- Creamy white to yellow flowers
- Red to black fruit
- Green fall color
- The dark green leaves persist late into the season. Creamy white flowers are followed by bright red fruits that later turn black.
