Additional Notes: Introduced by Herman Losely and Son in Perry, Ohio. This serviceberry is drought tolerant, mildew and rust resistant. The edible fruit is a favorite of birds and can be used in pies, jams, and jellies. This variety makes a great hedge, screen, or specimen plant.
