Foliage: Bronze in spring maturing to green
Size: H 6-8'
Flower: 6-8" rosy-pink, with white bars, fragrant
Bloom Time: 1st May-June on old wood, 2nd Aug-Sept on new wood
Exposure: Full sun to part shade
Soil: Average, well drained
Attributes: Flowers are followed by attractive seed heads. Doesn't like extremely hot, sunny locations. Protect from the afternoon sun and prune in late winter to early spring. Remove the dead and weak shoots and cut back 6-9".
